About Amy & Owen

Owners Amy and Owen Langley take absolute pride in offering a luxury, sophisticated, gloriously comfortable stay for their guests, catering to all needs.  Noosa Country Cat Hotel isn't your regular cat boarding facility,  it's so much more...

With the hotel situated from within their home, guests can make requests 24/7... how purrrfect!

Both Amy and Owen have a huge amount of animal care experience, varying from wildlife to farm animals,  their own domestic pet cats 'Mike' , 'Moby' and ‘Major’ and dogs 'Reed' and ‘Sasha’ along with almost 20 hens.

Amy was previously a wildlife park ranger/keeper, she has handled almost everything imaginable, including snakes and spiders! Amy has previously held wildlife care and rehabilitation permits and qualifications in NSW, QLD and the NT for macropods, as well as flying foxes, birds and reptiles.

Adding to this, Amy is a registered health professional, so she is meticulous when it comes to infection control and hygiene.

Owen is a part time QLD Fire and Rescue Firefighter with our local Pomona station, caring and helpful by nature, he also has a wealth of experience in animal handling and husbandry, as well as business know-how and skills in management of day to day operations.

Owen takes a lead role in ensuring the property is spotless, lawns manicured and hedges trimmed, he also offers a gentle yet masculine approach to guests who warm to males over females and can be found most days chatting away to our guests as he fulfils daily tasks around the hotel.

Amy and Owen share responsibility of guest care and hotel tasks and work tremendously as a team!
