Calming Environment

It's absolutely so vital to that guests feel comfortable, secure, tended to and welcome at Noosa Country Cat Hotel. 

Every effort will be made to ease guests into their holiday environment, starting by offering absolute peace and privacy at first, allowing play and wandering to happen at guest discretion and leisure. 

Amy uses several animal calming techniques to ensure her guests have a lovely memorable stay, including placement of fresh locally grown catnip  and cat grass in the outdoor enclosure which is high in folic acid and wonderful for foragers.  Amy also likes to play lovely calming music, the sort of laid back tunes you would expect to hear during a relaxed Sunday brunch at a fancy café.  Amy uses a gentle, quiet approach with her guests, she builds trust and friendship through affection and play.

Amy has a background in animal care including wildlife, livestock and her own domestic pets. She has some brilliant ways of enriching little lives to prevent boredom and stimulate play and emotional wellbeing including some really clever cat toys and even book corners to use as facial rub posts. 

Everything within the hotel can be washed, spot cleaned, sterilised or replaced, this means guests can 'go for it' if climbing up a curtain is what they prefer to do at home. Whatever makes a guest feel comfortable and happy is what Amy will strive to offer. Amy can be found most days laying on the floor with her guests, sometimes taking photos, other times simply allowing them the closeness of  human interaction, play, affection or warmth.. there's nothing like a purring guest to let us know we are on the right track.
