- Boarding fees are charged per day, day 1 is counted as the day your cat arrives, the final day of a guests stay is counted as the final day
- A 20% non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking to secure accommodation. Failure to pay the 20% deposit will result in the booking timing out within 1 hour (if using the portal to make your own booking). Failure to pay the deposit on the invoice due date (if you have requested we make the booking for you) will result in automated cancellation of your booking
- Noosa Country Cat Hotel is strictly closed on Saturday afternoons and Sundays for arrivals and departures
- Noosa Country Cat Hotel is strictly closed on QLD public holidays for arrivals and departures
- All cats must be de-sexed and fully vaccinated unless a reasonable explanation can be provided as per veterinary advice. A copy of your cat’s vaccination certificate MUST be provided on or prior to arrival (F3 minimum)
- Any foods supplied by you must be securely contained in a hard side container with lockable lid (i.e. Tupperware container). Noosa Country Cat Hotel takes no responsibility for food bag break ins and destruction by cheeky guests
- We only supply supermarket brands of food (Whiskas, Fancy Feast, Purina, Dine, Fussy Cat etc) from the likes of Coles, Woolworths, IGA and Aldi and as such don't offer brands found in Pet Barn/Pet Stock such as Royal Canin, Hills, Ziwi Peak, Black Hawk, Leaps & Bounds etc. If your cat requires specific pet foods not found in a supermarket please supply enough for the duration of their stay
- The storage, handling and serving of raw meat which is not labelled as safe for pet consumption as a raw meat product and has not undergone heat treatment can pose risks to your cat, other guest cats and ourselves through pathogenic bacterial contamination and other contaminants. We can only serve packaged raw meat labelled for pet consumption which is compliant with Australian Standard AS5812, ensuring stringent requirements are met in the production of safe, quality, nutritionally adequate pet food products and is committed to upholding best-practice standards in pet food manufacturing. Pet food products which comply with AS5812 have implemented comprehensive food safety and quality management systems, this involves documentation of processes and procedures, procurement and traceability of ingredients and the maintenance of detailed production and distribution records. The AS5812 also ensures regular testing and validation of ingredients to verify safety and quality, meeting defined specifications, free from contaminants. To remain complaint with obligations as a pet boarding establishment responsible for the safe storage and preparation of pet foods we are unable to feed cats a raw diet which is not labelled for pet consumption or undergone a heat treatment (cooking).
- Discounts do not apply for self supply of food
- Failure to provide the food your cat requires (which is not found in a supermarket) will incur additional fees for travel and purchase this food which will be invoiced to you for payment prior to departure. Any unused food will be provided to you on departure to take home
- Notice of any pre-existing medical conditions and medications to be administered must be provided when booking and are charged per guest per day accordingly. Medications should be clearly labelled and prepared (i.e. tablets to be quartered or halved prior to boarding)
- All cats must be treated with a veterinary grade flea treatment at least 5 days prior to arrival. If staying longer than a month, please bring a second dosage to be applied by Noosa Country Cat Hotel. For guests staying more than 3 months Noosa Country Cat Hotel supplies this treatment free of charge (Bravecto Plus).
- Flea collars are not deemed appropriatre coverage against fleas and ticks and won't be accepted
- Cats who are allowed to stray / who are left outside unattended MUST strictly quarantine indoors for a minimum of one week prior to arrival to Noosa Country Cat Hotel for the health and safety of all. Cats who show any sign of illness, injury, fleas or ticks even after the quarantine period will not be permitted entry
- Cats who display aggressive behaviour who also require daily medication will be transferred to veterinary care for the duration of their stay at our discretion and all associated costs will be passed on to you. The safety of your cat as well as our own safety is a priority, we do not tolerate aggression leading to risk of injury
- Only small, singular machine washable bedding and blankets from home are permitted, this is to minimise the risk of fleas/ticks/mites to all guests. Noosa Country Cat Hotel otherwise supples ALL bedding and it is preferred we do this
- If veterinary attention is necessary, the owner is liable for all such expenses. We will use the contact information you have left with us, but if we cannot contact you, we will act in the best interests of the cat, and all relevant costs will be passed to the owner
- Under no circumstances will Noosa Country Cat Hotel be held responsible for illness, injury, death, loss or damage of any kind whatsoever that may occur to any cat staying at, travelling to/from, or after staying at Noosa Country Cat Hotel.
- Boarding fees in their entirety are to be paid and cleared within our account 14 days prior to arrival at Noosa Country Cat Hotel. An email with payment methods, as well as confirmation of the booking will be sent once your booking has been completed and accepted.
- Noosa Country Cat Hotel has the right to refuse entry and cancel the booking if boarding fees are not paid in full prior to arrival (unless paying by cash on arrival)
- Guests will not be permitted to leave Noosa Country Cat Hotel until boarding fees are paid in full
- Refunds / credits will not be given for a change in boarding circumstances once your cat has arrived. Please understand we have secured your cats suite for the duration of their stay, turned business away to secure the suite and accommodate their stay and likely purchased specific supplies to facilitate the stay
- Changes to your cats boarding prior to arrival must be provided to us with as much notice as possible (reasonable notice).
- Refunds, part refunds and credits for cancellations or alterations to stays with extenuating/unforeseen circumstances are at our discretion and based on financial outlay to Noosa Country Cat Hotel to facilitate the stay, taking into consideration the turning away of business to hold the suite/suites.
- Cancellation of boarding in our Farmhouse Room less than 5 full days from date and time of arrival will result in loss of 50% boarding fees if boarding fees haven’t yet been paid, or loss of your 20% deposit if this has been paid
- Cancellations of Farmhouse Cottage, The Tiny Home and Veranda View Room stays with less than 14 days notice will result in total loss of boarding fees or a $250 cancellation fee if boarding fees haven’t yet been paid. Cancellations in these exclusive spaces must be advised within 14 full days prior to arrival time and date for a full refund of your boarding fees. Please understand we have secured your cats suite for the duration of their stay, turned bookings and business away to secure your cats stay and likely purchased specific supplies to facilitate their stay
- Failure to collect your cat and/or pay boarding fees without prior communication/after failed communication attempts by us to yourself and also your listed emergency contact over the course of two weeks will result in surrender of your cat to an animal rescue organisation of our choosing or arrangement of private foster/rehoming on your behalf
- These Terms and Conditions are subject to change at any time, it is your responsibility to ensure you have read and accept the above terms and conditions prior to booking/arrival
