There are 12 opportunities each day/night for guests to hop out of their suites and explore the catio or Farmhouse Room. Some guests prefer to snooze in peace (and have a view of the paddock and valley around the clock), so don’t take up all opportunities. For a full rundown of daily routines, check out ‘Guest daily routines’ from the drop down menu.
Yes, absolutely! Prior to use of catio’s we do a top to bottom check to make sure no bugs have found their way in while we haven’t been in there. We have never found a snake or any sort of bug/insect that could cause harm, our catnet is designed to keep creepy crawlies out and it does the job fabulously!
Guests will receive as much (or as little) as they desire. We are in the hotel for around 14 hours each day (yes, that’s right, we are with guests more than we are with our own children and pets). This means guests who crave a lap to sit on or companionship will have that on offer around the clock.
Absolutely not! Our suites as well as catio’s are professionally installed, tensioned and use high quality cat specific netting to prevent even the most daring of guests.
Yes, absolutely, we are temperature controlled year round. Each accommodation type has large split system air conditioning which keeps guests cool in summer and warm in winter, while it also maintains consistency of temperature in between. Our air conditioning units are serviced professionally twice yearly they are used that much!
Check out our fees under ‘Pricing’ from the drop down menu for a full rundown. Prices start from $30 per day including food.
Yes, absolutely! We have extensive experience in administering tablets, ointments, creams, insulin injections and even subcutaneous fluid injections.
This however mostly depends on how willing your cat is to accept medication from someone other than you in an environment other than home. While most cats will take a tablet, others will use defensive techniques to avoid taking that tablet (or injection) creating an element of risk for us with a scratch or bite, and stress to your cat. Before booking, please contact us and provide some details of how you feel your cat will accept medication administered by us.
We encourage you to BYO food if we don’t supply the specific brand or flavour of food your cat eats… this keeps tummy’s happy! We however cannot serve foods which don’t meet Australian Standard AS5812 (that is, things like raw meat from a butcher etc). Heat treated meats are absolutely fine however (cooked chicken, cooked mince etc).
Discounts aren’t offered for self supply of food, our fee structure is more focussed on the attentive, around the clock care provided to each guest rather than minimal cost of food.
We follow guidelines set out by the Australian Veterinary Association in conjunction with the RSPCA.
For cats staying in group settings we require proof of annual vaccination/booster to protect against feline disease. While we appreciate some indoor cats don’t require annual boosters, the risk level is increased in a group setting such as boarding and therefore should be taken into account.
We will also accept a positive Titer Test report/certificate from your Vet to show high antibody count.
The below links provide more information, if you are unsure please consult with your Vet.

Yes, absolutely! Long-stays are considered 2 months or more. We automatically discount the pricing to half suite instead of full suite (from the 2 month mark onwards), but offer the full suite.
Generally speaking this is quite confusing for your cat, so we don’t advise it. We also have lots to do each day at the hotel and have routines to fit it all in within our day, so a visitor outside our normal arrival/departure hours will take away from the care we need to provide.
Unfortunately no, sorry! Our Farmhouse Room is off-limits to the public while we maintain a level of biosecurity as well as keep it calm, consistent, quiet and predictable for guests in care. Multiple visitors each day would cause stress to many of our shy/timid guests which could impact their stay, or worse. We do all the settling in and are really experienced in this, it’s what we do!
