Outdoor Enclosures

Our outdoor enclosures (Catio's) are something we are really proud of... drenched in lovely warm morning or afternoon sun with plenty of nooks and cranny's to hide and snooze, they are the ultimate in guest relaxation. 

Our Farmhouse Room Standard Accommodation Catio stretches 9m long, 2.8m wide and spans the width of our back veranda. Completely predator proofed and secure with Cat Nets brand white netting and an airlock entry, it is as safe as it can possibly be.

Within this space are plenty of soft rugs and cushions to laze about on, but also a floor to ceiling climbing tree for the more daring guests. We also have multiple mid and high level snoozing areas and baskets for hiding away, all with plush washable bedding. 

Cat Grass and Catnip is also on offer for those who enjoy it, with continual refreshing and rotating between plantar boxes. It's here where guests can make as much mess as they wish, leave the cleaning up to us!

Views from the catio are of the paddock and our resident chickens, but resident birdlife are also in full view (and in abundance) from this area. If guests are lucky they will also encounter our lovely gentle Suri Alpaca girls who make a gentle and soothing humming noise when they are happy, or one of our friendly Australian White Ewe’s.

We also have a separate outside enclosure for exclusive use by our Farmhouse Cottage guests where they can immerse themselves in all the farm has to offer, experiencing manicured lawn beneath their little paws, views for days and up-close, ground-level interactions with our feathered friends and farm animals, as well as free ranging peafowl who are frequently seen wandering through the property. 

Our Tiny Home Exclusive Accommodation also has a newly added catio spanning 6.5m x 2m and takes in stunning valley and windmill views while also frequented by our alpacas, sheep, chickens and roaming peacocks.

We consider outdoor play critical to guest happiness. so ensure all guests (no matter which accommodation style chosen) are able to have time in the sun (or night air to cater to natural nocturnal instinct!) and a chance to stretch their legs and play, after all it's their holiday too!
